The Northwood Technical College Human Resource Management program offers an Associate Degree providing students with a broad overview of functions typically experienced in dealing with employees in today’s workplace. The program is designed to prepare individuals to support organizations in effectively recruiting, coaching, training, managing, and compensating employees. Students will also gain understanding of how regulations from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) influence workplaces and learn how to assist organizations in meeting compliance.
This program prepares graduates for roles in smaller organizations responsible for HR functions, such as HR Assistant, Employment Specialist, Human Resources Coordinator or Specialist, and Recruitment Specialist. It is a 60-credit, 2-year program that is Financial Aid-Eligible, with Multiple Start Dates and options for Full Time or Part Time study.
