Champlain College Online offers a 100% online Bachelor’s Degree Program in Human Resource Management. Designed for both current HR professionals with entry-level expertise and those looking to enter the field, the program aims to equip students with the training and development needed for the growing and increasingly complex human resources field. It prepares graduates to be strategic partners in organizations, moving beyond purely administrative functions.
The curriculum is aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates, ensuring it addresses current issues and provides necessary subject matter expertise and essential HR competencies. Students learn the fundamentals and best practices of HR, covering the employee lifecycle, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, retention, labor relations, workplace health, safety, and wellness, compensation and benefits, and the use of HR data and information systems (HRIS). The program requires 120 total credits, broken down into 51 credits of Core Courses, 42 credits of General Education Courses, and 27 credits of General Electives. Tuition for Fall ’23 – Summer ’25 is $335 per credit, with preferred rates available for Champlain alumni, associate degree graduates, veterans, military servicemembers, and family members of veterans and servicemembers. A one-time graduation fee of $150 also applies.
