The 121 total credit hours are broken down into several categories: 31 credits in Arts & Sciences, 33 credits in Core Curriculum, 12 credits in Specialized Track Courses, 39 credits in Electives, and 6 credits in Self Integration courses. Featured courses include Foundations of Decision Making (BUS316), which explores evaluating choices under certainty, uncertainty, and risk for individual and group decision-making, and Staffing and Workforce Diversity (HRM443), focusing on strategies for maximizing skills and abilities within a diverse workforce.

Flexibility is a key feature, with options for On Campus or Online learning. Campus learning offers an immersive, face-to-face experience, while online learning provides flexibility to study from anywhere. Many campus courses also utilize a synchronous hybrid format. Transfer credits are accepted, with the potential to transfer up to 90 credits.

As of July 2021, ECPI University aligned this program with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates, which define minimum HR content areas for university study.
