Human Resources Degree Program at Great Basin College

The Great Basin College offers a Certificate of Achievement in Human Resources. This program is designed to provide students with the essential education needed for entry-level employment within Human Resources departments. Graduates will be prepared to work in HR roles across a variety of offices, including both small and large business organizations.

Upon completion, students will acquire key knowledge and skills. They will understand the voluntary nature of business activity and how choices impact profitability and success. A core focus is on the effective application of appropriate human resource and relations skills in employment situations. The program also emphasizes the importance of ethical perspectives in HR decision making.
